We are parents, students, librarians, educators, authors and other community members in Beaufort County, SC who directly oppose book bans and educational censorship.
FABB was launched in January 2023 to directly oppose the small group of extremists who effectively banned 97 books from the shelves of Beaufort County public schools.
We advocate for intellectual freedom, champion educators and librarians, and promote socially just and public education.
